Haroldo Jacobovicz is well known because of his devotion to information technology. He was brought into being in Curitiba, Parana, by civil engineering parents who inspired him to venture into civil engineering before studying information technology. Haroldo has founded several telecommunications firms, including Horizons Telecom, e-Governe, and Horizons Datacenter. He developed these companies to unite the best human talent, professionalism, and strategic resources to solve information technology challenges using the most advanced solutions available. These developments have impacted the public and private sectors, transforming the Brazilian markets.
Horizons uses the latest equipment on the market, multi-point redundancy, and a 100% fiber network. Since its founding in 2010, it has grown to become a significant telecommunications supplier across Brazil. Horizons Datacenter was established in 2020 to extend the mission of Horizons Telecom by bringing cloud connectivity and other significant capabilities to all organizations.
Haroldo Jacobovicz’s mother, Sarita, was among the seven female engineers in Parana. Haroldo was inspired by his father’s appreciation for creations and physical structures and enrolled in civil engineering at the Federal University of Parana in Curitiba. The world was transforming into technology, and IT seemed more fun to Mr. Jacobovicz; he studied everything concerning technology in any material, including newspapers, magazines, and books.

After a few years of studying technology, Haroldo Jacobovicz was joined by his friends, who developed a firm known as Microsystem. This company offered a solution that could help companies automate their cash management and inventory. Microsystem was shut down after one year, and Haroldo was hired to serve at Exxon Mobil. Jacobovicz was among a group of 200 engineering workers hired; he rose through the ranks and led this company’s new business and commercial tactics. Haroldo Jacobovicz had a dream to venture into entrepreneurship, which is why he established Horizons Telecom and its subsidiaries and e-Governe.
