Cloud services engineer Tom Keane works across all of Microsoft’s divisions worldwide, and yet his focus remains squarely on Azure customers. A proven leader and master at driving business results for customers, he has been instrumental in driving innovation for Microsoft over the past two decades, including serving as one of the architects behind Windows 7 Service Pack 1.
Keane’s career started in engineering, with a range of IT leadership roles at a global level. Since joining Microsoft in 1992, he has worked on the value-added solution areas of the company’s product lines. As Vice President of Worldwide Sales, he led the global sales team at Microsoft Concert Account Services, one of the company’s early outsourcing solutions. Tom Keane then led business development for the Microsoft Office Communication Server before joining Microsoft BizTalk Server as Vice President of Worldwide Business Development.
