Ever since Marwan Kheireddine started participating in the banking sector and contributed in rally endorsements for instituting policies, the Lebanon banking sector is now in a better banking position, and the abidance by other international laws and norms have been strengthening. Thanks to Marwan Kheireddine having a solid background in the banking sector and his academic excellence, a lot of changes have been made and improvements in the government states of Lebanon. Among the many staffs who work in AM Bank is Marwan Kheireddine. He is the presiding and chairman of the AM Bank that runs its daily activities out of Lebanon. Before joining the banking sector, he was nominated as the government official of the Lebanese Government as their Minister of States for three years.
He made sure that Lebanon’s economic and monetary matters improved by taking part in activities that would bring changes to the Government. Part of his role in the Government was to draft and secure government approval of the Cross-Border Cash Limitation Law, updating the Anti-Money Laundering Law and the Capital Markets Law. To improve the economic state, Marwan Kheireddine made sure he contributed to the private sector by supporting the making of the Banque du Liban Circular 331. The Banque du Liban is a regulation that promotes businesses and business owners by financing their business. The law extended its power by incentivizing and allowing banks to invest in technologies startups, venture capitals, and incubators to support entrepreneurs.
Besides his extensive experience in the banking sector and working as a government official, Marwan Kheireddine also taught universities students of American University finance. His hard work in the banking sector received recognition as he was elected several times to serve on the Association of Banks of Lebanon board. Marwan Kheireddine works in different Universities as a board of member and as a trustee, including the American University in Beirut.
