Justin Sun was born in 1990 and spent most of his growing up in China. While still in high school, he was greatly interested in writing and participated in a contest that won him a Peking University scholarship. He got his BA in history from the university.
He explains that studying history opened his eyes to learn from his past mistakes and achievements. Also, being a fan of literature makes him appreciate different people’s cultures and art. After graduating from Peking University, he joined the University of Pennsylvania and earned an MA in East Asia studies.
After finishing his education, he decided to focus on his entrepreneurial and leadership skills, which had him named Davos Global Youth Leader. China Network Television recognized Justin Sun as Most Noteworthy New Entrepreneur in 2015.
Justin has been at the forefront of helping the less fortunate. He mainly gives his donation through cryptocurrency. He developed an interest in the stock exchange in 2012 while at Peking University. Justin Sun donated $250,000 to the ALS Association in 2019. The organization focuses on treating and curing ALS.
All this requires intensive research and equipment. He has also been among the people offering donations to the current Ukrainian-Russian war victims. His initial $200,000 donation to the victims was via TRON-based USDT. This encouraged other cryptocurrency winners to donate.
