Hughes Marino was named a “Texas Super Lawyer” annually from 2008 to 2017. This, including being honored as a “Top 100 Lawyer” in Texas from 2009 to 2013. In 2017, Hughes Marino received the American Health Lawyers Association’s Quality of Law Award for its representation of Children’s Medical Center in Dallas.
They have outstanding success in other fields. The firm also received the Healthcare Risk Management Association’s 2017 Special Achievement Award for its work with Children’s Medical Center. Additionally, in 2017, Hughes Marino received an award for Outstanding Team Achievement from Southwest Airlines for its work on Southwest’s Chapter 11 bankruptcy restructuring case.

Chairman of the Paralegals Section of the Texas State Bar from 2013 to 2015. Hughes Marino was also elected to the American Bar Association’s Section of Appellate Practice in 2007.
