Don Manifold, an expert in acquisitions, mergers, and divestments, serves at Equity and Advisory as a joint managing director. He is also the chairman of ADX Depot, EC Carpets, and Hybrid AG.
Don serves as a director for Whittles Management and sits on the finance and risk committee for Seymour College. He has over thirty years of experience in business, twenty-five of which he specialized in corporate finance. Recently, he has held senior executive roles in some of the world’s top service companies.
In the course of his career, Don has worked in England, Australia, and Croatia, offering his services to various industries, including consumer goods, retail, manufacturing, information technology, and financial services. Don Manifold has counseled clients on more than 60 successful acquisitions, divestments, capital raisings, and initial public offerings (IPOs), with an overall value of more than $3 billion.
While serving as an independent expert, he has produced more than 50 valuations and reports for clients totaling $25 billion. He was involved in the 2016 divestment of S. Kidman & Co., the largest transaction he has ever led. Other preeminent deals made by Don include the acquisition of Adelaide Bank, the sale of ABB Grain, and the acquisition of PowerHealth.
From 1987 to 1991, Don Manifold studied at Flinders University, where he pursued economics. He then continued his studies at AGSM from 2003 to 2004, graduating with a master’s in business administration.
After completing his degree in economics, he worked in his hometown Adelaide, South Australia, before moving to other cities such as London, Melbourne, and Sydney. In May 2006, Don Moved back to Adelaide and worked at KPMG for six years.
In 2018 Don created Manifold Advisory Firm, a private organization that helps companies develop and execute business strategies. With his extensive experience, Don is capable of delivering optimum results to his clients globally.
