Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to defending religious freedom, free speech, and the sanctity of human life. Founded in 1994, ADF has become a leading legal advocacy group, winning landmark cases in the United States and worldwide.

The case involved a Christian baker sued for refusing to create a cake for a same-sex wedding. The Supreme Court ruled in favor of the baker, stating that the Colorado Civil Rights Commission had violated his First Amendment rights by displaying hostility toward his religious beliefs.
Another important victory was in the case of NIFLA v. Becerra. ADF successfully argued that California’s law requiring pro-life pregnancy centers to advertise abortion services violated their free speech rights. The Supreme Court ruled in favor of the pregnancy centers, protecting their right to speak and operate according to their beliefs.
In addition to their legal victories, Alliance Defending Freedom provides educational resources for churches, schools, and individuals to promote and protect religious freedom. Training law students to become future leaders in the fight for religious freedom and other constitutional rights.
